In May 2025, America Is All In, the city of Columbia, SC, and Sustain SC hosted a joint workshop with more than 75 local officials, business and higher education leaders, and community members.
Featuring All In Leaders Circle member and Columbia Mayor Daniel Rickenmann, this event highlighted the important role of public-private partnerships in driving climate action and economic growth. Given the challenges that communities face in advancing climate action and resilience efforts, discussions emphasized the need for collaboration to overcome barriers – such as financing projects, building community support, and leveraging tools like community benefits plans to move progress forward.
