We Are All In: Members Reaffirm Paris Commitments
Why We Stand Committed to the Paris Agreement
An Open Letter From Hundreds of All In Members
America Is All In, the largest coalition of climate leaders in the United States, represents nearly two-thirds of the U.S. population and approximately three-quarters of U.S. GDP. We envision a world in which all levels of government and all parts of society take action to accelerate climate progress and work alongside one another to achieve a healthy, just, prosperous, and sustainable future for all.
We, the undersigned entities, stand committed to the goals of the Paris Agreement and to doing what is necessary to reduce emissions in line with a 1.5℃ global climate target. Only when we follow the science can we protect our communities from extreme and expensive climate impacts, grow our economy for the benefit of American workers and innovation, and keep our air and water clean and our children healthy. The U.S.’s five-year climate plans – our Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) – are key to a net zero economy by 2050 and we will do what’s in our power to meet those goals.
To do that, we need tools like the energy and climate provisions in the Inflation Reduction Act and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, tools we will continue to use as a basis for investment to create jobs and economic opportunity across the nation.
From the boardroom to the classroom, from neighborhoods to the halls of government, we are committed to fighting climate change, improving livelihoods, advancing environmental justice, and investing in and building a future that is worthy of generations to come.
We call on our colleagues and neighbors to join us in this effort.
