Deepa Vedavyas is the inaugural Director of Resiliency and Sustainability at NOPEC, where she set the North Star for the organization’s sustainability vision. She launched NOPEC’s first sustainability platform, advancing a resilient and equitable energy future for 244 communities. With 15+ years in urban sustainability, climate action, and policy, she previously led Cleveland’s first Clean Energy Plan and LEED for Cities Silver certification. A global speaker at ICLEI’s World Congress, World ESG Forum, delegate at COP27 and COP28, she serves on multiple regional and national advisory boards. Deepa holds a Master’s from VCU and is pursuing a Master’s in Sustainability at Harvard.
