About the Event

Date/Time: Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 3:00 PM ET

Delivering social, economic, and environmental benefits for disadvantaged communities is a major component of the equitable renewable energy transition that the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) is driving forward. The Biden-Harris Administration has developed a federal community benefits framework that aligns federal climate investments and incentives from the IRA with key policies such as Justice40, Investing in America’s Workforce, Engaging Communities and Labor, and Advancing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility.

Join us as we unpack the community benefits framework. We’ll share best practices for producing strong and comprehensive community benefits plans and support the integration of the community benefits framework within private sector sustainability and environmental strategies.
